I leaned that dreams have an important role in your neural functions and that dreams happen every night. I learned that as you eat a high fat high sugar diet, you eat more often. As you eat more often, you may start eating before bed, thus stimulating your metabolism, which may cause nightmares. I learned about different types of dreaming such as nightmares, lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, and the common pleasant dream. I also learned that as we live a more balanced lifestyle, we may have better dreams because as our brains process what happened to us during the waking hours, it incorporates it into our dreams. Maintaining all areas of wellness may improve your dreams. I may be able to understand my dreams a bit more now that i have done some research.
