Effects of Instant Noodles By Diego

I chose this topic because I first wanted to know why my dad said to stop buying more instant noodle packets. This is connected to me because I use to eat them, and also my dad. Al. This issue is very relevant to me, because with them continuing to eat instant noodles, I want to know what is really going on in their body. It’s an important topic because people who would buy this a lot, would be teenagers and young adults. This affects teenagers because teenagers just want 3 things in food: fast, cheap, and delicious. That’s what instant noodles all have.


Out of all the countries in the world, China tops the most amount of instant noodles consumed with a whopping 44.4 billion servings per year. Instant noodles is highly processed, making this have no nutrients and minerals at all. It’s very high in fat, sodium, and calories. It has lots of flavourings and artificial colourings. It also has a special preservative called TBHQ. What TBHQ does is not for food, but for the petroleum industry. This is also used in Macdonalds, Reese, and many other companies. This is considered an “antioxidant”, but it’s not natural. Five grams of TBHQ, and it will give you: nausea and vomiting, ringing in the ears, delirium, sense of suffocation, and chance of collapsing. This makes instant noodles, one to take caution of.


The summary about this topic is how we have to look for what we eat, it might be  My thinking has changed because, I thought that instant noodles would just be high in calories and fat. I thought that it was just an unhealthy food without nutrients. Now I think that eating lots of instant noodles can cause these symptoms.
