NOTECARD REMINDERS:

  • Fill in Title (Subquestion)
  • Direct Quote
  • Paraphrase (with proper in-text citation – last name and page number)
  • My Ideas: 1. How does the information help? 2. What additional questions do I have?
  • Create Piles according to the Categories (eg. Define the Issue)
  • Move the piles under the correct categories and in the correct order

Below is an example of a completed notecard, properly paraphrased, and with all sections filled up.  You’ll notice this particular paraphrase didn’t have a page number in the citation because the source itself didn’t have page numbers.
