1. Muscular Strength-

How it applies

  • When your going against tougher opponents

  • When penetrating the lane

  • Countering pushes and the defense

2. Muscular Endurance-

How it applies

  • Reps and Reps in the weight room to gain muscle strength

  • To develop muscles you have to develop a consistent habit in going to the gym and doing repetitions

3. Cardiorespiratory Endurance-

How it applies

  • When everyone is tired and you’re still competing in the high level in the 4th quarter

  • You can be athletic or skilled but if you don’t have this you will SUCK \

  • Conditioning is the Key of basketball

4. Flexibility-

How it applies

  • Preventing injuries

  • Telling your joints to get ready for the game

5. Body Composition-

How it applies

  • Also depends on your athletic ability

  • Need the right amount of fat and muscle and bones, etc.


  • improves confidence

  • develops a good attitude

  • Helps leadership skills

  • Make your body healthy

  • get lots of friends

  • burns lots of calories

  • improve coordination

Things to watch out for:

  • Injuries: knee and ankles and heart

  • Fighting

  • Dont get too caught up or lose backup plans

  • get closer to drugs (RARE)



Youssouf/Ilegal Drugs

The subject I am going to address are illegal drugs.


It is important to know the effects in order to make smart choices in the future on not using these harmful drugs.

I picked this issue because it is a huge worldwide problem around the world destroying peoples lives and hurting the innocent people.The people who use this in order to make money.

This issue affects about 30% of teenagers who smoke marijuana and I learned that from one of my resources that I found while researching.

Some intersecting facts are:

  1. 30% of teenagers smoke marijuana
  2. Meth users undergo rapid weight loss
  3. Cocaine increases heart rate and blood pressure while constricting the lungs.

I believe that these drugs cause things that shouldn’t happen until later in your life like a heart attack.

In conclusion illegal drugs need to be stopped and never used and if you don’t use drugs and can lead to a much more healthier and happier life.
