The health issue I would like to present today is eating a healthy diet. This issue is important because it involves in our daily life. I picked this issue because as fast food become more common, teenagers begin to eat more unhealthy. I learned that this issue affects teenagers by reduce our ability to lead an enjoyable and active life.
Some interesting facts about this issue are:
1. Healthy eating is associated with reduced risk for many diseases, including several of the leading causes of death: heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes.
2. Healthy eating in childhood and adolescence is important for proper growth and development and can prevent health problems such as obesity,
I believe that poor nutrition can contribute to stress, tiredness and our capacity to work, and over time, it can contribute to the risk of developing some illnesses and other health problems such as: cancer, being overweight, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
